Parkland Health Foundation has announced the appointment of seven new members to its Board of Directors, according to Board Richard Trubitt. In addition, the Board has announced its Executive Officers for fiscal year 2024, which began Oct. 1.
Along with Richard Trubitt, Board officers for 2024 include Laura Granado-Ugge as secretary and Peter Bartholow as treasurer.
New board members include:
Jeff Cody: Jeff Cody is managing partner of Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP, the chair of the US management committee and is a member of the global executive committee. Jeff, who previously served as US Chief Administrative Partner, is responsible for the firm's US operations and strategy. He represents clients in complex commercial disputes in the healthcare, financial and information technology industries. He has appeared in numerous commercial arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association and FINRA.
Beau Falgout: As the managing director and chief operating officer at August, Beau Falgout has designed and executed direct-to-patient marketing programs, led diligence for and executed domestic and cross-border transactions, developed a strategy to accelerate the company’s spine business in Latin America, conducted extensive voice-of-physician research, and spearheaded post-acquisition integration and employee communications and engagement programs.
Michelle George: As Community Relations Director at Texas Capital Bank, Michelle George leads the bank's statewide Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and manage a team of community relations professionals to create innovative, impactful service and philanthropy initiatives through the lens of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). Empowering underserved communities is not just a job for me, it's my passion and purpose.
Ashwina Kirpalani-Vasanjee: Ashwina Kirpalani-Vasanjee is vice president of insights and analytics at StriveTogether. In this role, she leads the vision for StriveTogether’s data and analytics function and oversees the implementation of these strategies across the organization, network and field. She manages the data, insights and analytics team. Ashwina brings nearly a decade of experience from Cradle to Career Network member Commit Partnership in Dallas County, Texas.
Renda Mathew: As the Dallas market president at Truist, Renda Mathew oversees a team of commercial bankers who provide strategic solutions to their clients across various industries and markets. She has over 25 years of experience in driving new business development, revenue growth and fostering lasting relationships with stakeholders. Mathew is an active member of several professional and civic organizations, such as The Dallas Assembly, Leadership Dallas Alumni, and The Dallas Summit.
Nimesh Mehta: Nimesh Mehta was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of National Life Group in 2018. He focuses on all aspects of technology operations to effectively align business and technology strategy with a customer centric focus. He was previously the Head of Life & Annuity Operations and also served as the Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Technology Officer at the company. Before joining National Life in 2008, he served in various leadership positions at Lincoln Financial Group for over 14 years.
Randy Rapp: Randy Rapp has more than thirty-five years of commercial banking experience and is currently the President at CrossFirst Bank. In his role he has oversight of all markets, lines of business and credit. Mr. Rapp is also a member of the Bank Board, Executive Committee and helped take the company public in 2019. Over his career he has worked as a Chief Risk Officer, Chief Credit Officer, credit underwriter, commercial relationship manager and credit approval officer for several banks in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
